Inflatable Rescue Boat

The Club uses an Arancia inshore rescue boat (IRB) which was designed and manufactured in New Zealand. It is a 3.8 metre inflatable with a 30hp Tohatsu engine. It is a fast, light, manoeuvrable surf rescue craft and suitable for extreme conditions. The IRB crew are all qualified SLSA GB coxswains and are trained in the recovery of casualities from both within the surf and also beyond the break. |
